Monitoring and Control of Complex Technical Objects

The operation of many industrial, facilities, natural resources, utilities and other complex technical objects depend upon equipment and processes that are scattered on territory. The Monitoring and Control System offers these organizations tools to quickly identify problems and remotely manage and control equipment and processes. Low-cost, high-speed computer and communications technology enables any organization, regardless of size and budget, to automate and centralize the management of the operation. 

Monitoring and Control System allows:

  • use a mechanism for individual monitoring and prediction of technical state of long-term operating the technical object;
  • use a nondestructive testing by implementing special software;
  • improve decision making based on information about technical state of objects;
  • support decision-makers information about actual state of equipment;
  • improve Information System by improving the data reliability.

State Automated Election System

The State Automated Election System "VYBORY" is a geographically distributed information and telecommunication hardware & software solution.

It was designed for realization of informational processes for elections and referenda organization, preparation and execution, as well as for many corresponding tasks unrelated directly to this matter.

Later on a sub-system of control and maintenance was ordered by the Federal Center of Information Technologies of the Central Election Commission of Russian Federation.

More than eight years of experience in operating the election automated system led authority to the understanding that there is a need for more effective control of the system on various levels, from central to local electoral commissions.

To improve exploitation of the system and automate new functions in second stage release of the system, the sub-system "Maintenance and Service" and sub-system "Command and Control Operation" were developed by the "Research and Engineering Center of St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University".

Data Mining Information System
